THREE PROSPECTIVE DEANS OF FMIPA PASSED DELETE VERIFICATION

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University will hold its democratic party in 2023. This is because the term of office of the Dean for the 2019-2023 period will end on September 29, 2023. Since March 30, 2023 a committee to select prospective candidates for the 2023-2027 FMIPA Dean has been formed. The team led by apt. Made Krisna Adi Jaya, S.Farm., M.Farm has started working to recruit prospective deans who will compete for the 2023-2027 FMIPA Dean seat.

Interviewed at the Faculty on Monday, 19 June 2023, Krisna explained that there were three prospective Dean candidates who had registered and successfully passed the document verification that met the requirements to become Deans, including Prof. dr. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D (incumbent), Drs. Yan Ramona, M.App.Sc., Ph.D. who is a lecturer in the Biology study program and Cokorda Rai Adi Pramartha, ST. MM., PhD. Which is a lecturer in Informatics Engineering study program.

Mrs. Wati is the Dean for the 2019-2023 period who is nominating herself as a candidate for dean for the 2023-2027 period because she has a commitment to continue programs that need to be perfected, while Mr. Yan Ramona and Mr. Cok are the two best FMIPA lecturers who also have high dedication to building FMIPA towards a better direction.

"The vision, mission and work programs of the three dean candidates have been submitted to us for socialization. We will put up billboards, print pamphlets and also share the vision and mission of the FMIPA dean candidates for the 2023-2027 period on FMIPA social media so that the academic community can see them," Krisna said at the end of the interview.

The entire FMIPA academic community will "entrust" their voices through the MIPA Faculty Senate Council whose members consist of representatives of 10 study programs at the MIPA Faculty to determine which two potential candidates will be submitted to the Chancellor of Udayana University. The determination will be made through a senate meeting scheduled for July 4 2023. The two selected candidates at the Faculty Senate stage will then choose 1 best candidate by the Chancellor of Udayana University through a due diligence.
