The Udayana University Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Informatics Team Passes the National Selection and Participates in the 2026 COMAP Contest.

A student team from the Informatics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), successfully passed the national selection and participated in the COMAP Contest 2026 coaching program, representing Udayana University in the Mathematical Contest in Modeling (MCM) and Interdisciplinary Contest in Modeling (ICM) categories.

The national selection in Indonesia attracted 419 participants from 156 university teams. Through a rigorous selection process, the top 15 teams were selected and qualified to participate in the national coaching program as preparation for the international COMAP Contest 2026.

As part of the program, the finalists received support and coaching from the Directorate of Science and Technology Talent Development. The coaching program was held at the Center for Teachers and Education Personnel (BBGTK) of West Java Province in Bandung City from January 20–24, 2026, and was attended by 15 teams (45 participants) and 15 advisors from various universities in Indonesia.

The Informatics Study Program Team from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University, is supervised by I Wayan Supriana, S.Si., M.Cs., with the following student team members:

2. Anak Agung Gede Ngurah Ananda Wirasena
3. Akira Rian Satya Dhamma

Participation in this mentoring program is expected to strengthen students' competencies in mathematical modeling and interdisciplinary approaches, while also serving as a strategic step for Udayana University in preparing the best representatives for international academic competitions.
