The Master of Pharmacy Thesis Acceleration Workshop Equips Students with Strategies to Graduate on Time

Denpasar, July 10, 2026 – The Master of Pharmacy Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University, successfully held a Final Project (Thesis) Acceleration Workshop with the theme "Academic Excellence: Strategies to Accelerate Research and Publication of Quality and Impactful Master of Pharmacy Theses" in the Hall of the FMIPA Postgraduate Building, Udayana University Sudirman Campus. The event was attended by second- and third-semester Master of Pharmacy students, as well as the Master of Pharmacy Study Program Coordinator, supervisors, and the study program management team, demonstrating a shared commitment to supporting students' timely completion of their studies.

The workshop opened with a presentation by Dr. rer. nat. apt. Ni Putu Ariantari, S.Farm., M.Farm., Coordinator of the Master of Pharmacy Study Program, who explained the importance of research at the master's level and the stages of thesis proposal development. Next, Dr. apt. Made Krisna Adi Jaya, S.Farm., M.Farm.Klin. discussed strategies for developing relevant research, from problem identification and determining novelty to developing an effective methodology. Meanwhile, Dr. apt. Ni Putu Ayu Dewi Wijayanti, S.Farm., M.Si., provided participants with strategies for developing a mindset, time management, and research planning to ensure optimal and timely completion of their theses.

During the workshop, participants learned various practical strategies to accelerate their thesis completion, from developing a research timeline, managing weekly targets, regular consultations with their supervisors, to preparing for scientific publications. The material also emphasized the importance of research data quality, research ethics, and adaptability in facing various challenges during the research process.

Through this activity, the Master of Pharmacy Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University, hopes that students will have a clearer direction in preparing and completing their final assignments, thus enabling them to produce high-quality theses, completed on time, and ready for publication as a tangible contribution to the development of science.
