The Informatics Study Program of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Udayana is finalizing its preparations for joint accreditation with the LP3M Udayana University.
Denpasar, Friday, October 3, 2025 – The Informatics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Udayana University, held an accreditation preparation meeting on Friday, October 3, 2025, at the 2nd Floor of the FMIPA Building, Sudirman Campus. The event featured Prof. Dr. Ni Luh Nyoman Seri Malini from the Institute for Learning Development and Quality Assurance (LP3M) of Udayana University as a resource person, who provided technical guidance regarding the preparation of the Self-Evaluation Report (LED) in accordance with the LAM INFOKOM 2.0 Guidelines (April 2025).
The meeting was opened by the Dean of FMIPA, Prof. Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D., who in her remarks expressed her appreciation for the dedication of the Informatics Study Program Accreditation Task Force Team in preparing the accreditation documents. She emphasized that the accreditation process is not merely about fulfilling administrative obligations, but also part of a strategic effort to strengthen the culture of quality and academic accountability within the Informatics Study Program. The meeting was chaired by the Coordinator of the Informatics Study Program, Dr. Ir. I Ketut Gede Suhartana, S.Si., M.Kom., and attended by the Accreditation Team, lecturers, and the Quality Assurance Unit of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
In her presentation, Prof. Dr. Ni Luh Nyoman Seri Malini emphasized that the preparation of the LED must present an analysis based on valid and measurable data, reflect the implementation of the PPEPP (Determination-Implementation-Evaluation-Control-Improvement) cycle, and demonstrate the link between the National Higher Education Standards (SN-DIKTI), Udayana University's Higher Education Standards, and the Informatics Study Program development plan. Prof. Seri Malini also provided several inputs regarding the development of evaluative narratives, the establishment of performance indicators, and the alignment of the Study Program Performance Report (LKPS) and the LED to ensure a strong connection.
In the discussion session, the Informatics Accreditation Team and resource persons discussed various important aspects of each LED criteria, including strengthening internal quality audits, synchronizing the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) based curriculum, and differentiating the excellence of study programs in the field of informatics that are relevant to the needs of society and industry in Bali. Through this meeting, the Informatics Study Program of FMIPA Udayana University affirmed its commitment to realizing the superior accreditation of LAM INFOKOM 2.0, by prioritizing a culture of quality, transparent governance, and sustainable innovation in the tridharma of higher education.
