The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Udayana University and the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Padang State University Establish Academic Cooperation through the Signing of a Cooperation Agreement
Denpasar, Monday, October 27, 2025 - The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University officially established a partnership with the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Padang State University in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The signing of the cooperation agreement took place on October 27, 2025. On this occasion, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Padang State University was represented by the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Actuarial Science Study Program. This collaboration is a strategic step in strengthening academic networks between the faculties of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MIPA) in Indonesia, particularly in developing educational cooperation, research, scientific publications, and the Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) program.
The Dean of FMIPA of Udayana University stated that this collaboration is expected to open up broad opportunities for students and lecturers on both sides to develop their competencies and improve academic quality. "We warmly welcome this collaboration with FMIPA of Padang State University, especially to strengthen academic programs and innovative research collaborations," he said. Meanwhile, the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Actuarial Science Study Program at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Padang State University, expressed optimism that this synergy will foster various productive activities, such as student and lecturer exchanges, guest lectures, joint curriculum development, and collaborative research in actuarial science and other related sciences.
With the signing of this cooperation agreement, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University, and the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Padang State University, are committed to continuously strengthening their contributions to improving the quality of higher education in Indonesia and encouraging innovations that benefit society.
