The 2026 FMIPA PORSENI Officially Opens, Embodying the Synergy of Student Creativity and Sportsmanship

Bukit Jimbaran, April 19, 2026 – The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University successfully held the Opening Ceremony of the 2026 FMIPA Sports and Arts Week (PORSENI) at the Widya Sabha Building. With the theme "Jana Kerti: Sinergi Citta, Yasa, lan Raras," this event provided a platform for students to develop their interests, talents, creativity, and uphold the values ??of sportsmanship in sports and the arts.

The opening ceremony featured a parade of contingents from six study programs within the FMIPA, the selection of the FMIPA's Jegeg Bagus (Good Dance Costume), and various arts competitions such as solo vocals, group vocals, and dance covers. The enthusiasm of the participants and contingents was high throughout the event.

The Vice Dean for Student Affairs of the FMIPA, Prof. Dr. Ni Nyoman Rupiasih, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D., expressed her appreciation for the enthusiasm and active participation of all students. According to him, PORSENI (Indonesian Sports Week) is not only a platform for developing interests and talents, but also a means to foster sportsmanship, a competitive spirit, and strengthen students' soft skills.

The 2026 PORSENI Opening Ceremony ran smoothly and lively thanks to the collaborative efforts of the committee, participants, and all involved parties. It is hoped that the spirit of togetherness created during the event will continue through the conclusion of the 2026 FMIPA PORSENI series.
