Pharmacy of FMIPA UNUD Unud won 2nd place in LEMFI ALPHA-C at UIN Alauddin Makasar

LEMFI (Indonesian Pharmacy Student Essay Contest) is one of the branches of the Alauddin's Pharmaceutical Competition 2022 event organized by the Pharmacy Department Student Association, Alauddin State Islamic University Makassar. The competition, which was opened for the preliminary stage from July 4, 2022 to August 8, 2022, was conducted online, then continued with the final presentation stage offline by taking place at UIN Alauddin Makassar (the organizer) on August 25, 2022. The competition ended with the announcement of the winner on 26 August 2022.

This competition was attended by 32 participants from 16 universities throughout Indonesia (Poltekes Makassar, Hassanudin University, UIN Alauddin Makassar, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, Tadulako University, Pelita Mas College of Pharmacy Palu, Sam Ratulangi University, Udayana University, Halu Oleo University , National Institute of Science and Technology, Nahdlatul Ulama University, East Kalimantan, Purwokerto Muhammadiyah University, Lambung Mangkurat University, STIFAR Makassar, Brawijaya University, Indonesian Muslim University).

The Essay Contest with the theme "Promotion of Herbal Medicines as a Form of Pharmaceutical Innovation in the Era of Society 5.0" requires each participant to choose one of the sub-themes, namely:

1. Development of Herb Medicine in the Treatment of Gout
2. The Role of Pharmacists in Promotion of Herbal Medicines in Society

Udayana Pharmacy sent I Gst A A Gangga Samala Dewi as a participant as well as getting 2nd place in this LEMFI. Congratulations to I Gst A A Gangga Samala Dewi, hopefully this achievement can spur and motivate other students to continue to improve their achievements.
