PHARMACY CARE FOR HEALTH 2025 - Pharmacy Study Program Student Association (Himafarma) Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University

Kemenuh Village, Saturday, May 31, 2025 - Pharmacy Cares for Health is a work program of the Pharmacy Student Association of the Pharmacy Study Program Student Association (Himafarma) Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University with the aim of upholding one of the values ??of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely Community Service by pharmacy students and pharmacist volunteers. Pharmacy Cares for Health 2025 carries the theme "Assembling Health from Lifestyle: Pharmacist Health Education". With this theme, we have great hopes of helping the community to maintain health from a healthy lifestyle and providing a forum for new generations of people to learn about the importance of pharmacy in the world of health.


This activity was chaired by I Made Bhanu Wira Astawa, an active student of the Pharmacy Study Program Class of 2023, along with 78 committee members. Preparation for this activity began in February 2025, until the peak of the event, namely May 31, 2025 in Kemenuh Village, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency. The activity was officially opened by the Coordinator of the Pharmacy Study Program, Mr. Dr. Apt. Eka Indra Setiawan, S.Farm., M.Sc. and also attended by the Coordinator of Student Affairs of the Pharmacy Study Program, Mr. I Wayan Martadi Santika, S.Farm, M.Sc., Apt.


Participants of the activity consisted of the community from Kemenuh Village and several ranks of Lecturers and committees. FPK 2025 involved external parties as personnel for health checks from the Sukawati 1 Health Center, health counseling from Pharmacist Volunteers/PSPA, and blood donation by the UDD PMI Gianyar Regency. The socialization of the activity was filled by 2 speakers, namely Apt. Ketut Widyani Astuti, S.Si., M.Biomed. who presented the material "Overcoming Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus" and Apt. Agus Hendra Jaya. Who presented the material on "Drug Classification and How to Maintain a Healthy Lifestyle". Approximately 100 participants enthusiastically participated in the socialization and health check, even reaching 22 blood donors at the end of the activity.


The Chairperson of the Pharmacy Student Association for the 2025 period, I Made Artadhinata Yogi Maha Putra stated that this activity is very beneficial for many parties in the field of community service because it opens up many opportunities for parties other than internal parties to participate in giving back to the community as a sign of caring about health and the sustainability of life. It is hoped that this activity can always be carried out in the villages of Bali Province routinely every year to provide an impact that advances the world of Pharmacy.
