NATIONAL PHARMACY WORKSHOP AND SEMINAR (WSNF) 2025
Jimbaran Hill, Saturday 04 October 2025 — The Pharmacy Student Association (HIMAFARMA) of the Pharmacy Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Udayana University, successfully held the 2025 National Pharmacy Workshop and Seminar (WSNF) online via Zoom Meeting. The theme of the event was "Green Pharmacy Transformation: Exploring Natural Ingredients and Sustainable Technology as a New Paradigm in Pharmaceutical Innovation."
The event was attended by more than 250 participants from various universities across Indonesia, consisting of both presenters and non-presenters. WSNF 2025 featured two national speakers: Dr. I Gusti Putu Bagus Sasrawan Mananda, S.ST.Par., M.M., M.Par. from the Faculty of Tourism, Udayana University, and apt. Ni Putu Suci Wiadnyani, S.Farm., a practitioner in the development of natural-based pharmaceutical products. Both highlighted the importance of utilizing Indonesia's natural resources and implementing environmentally friendly technologies in sustainable pharmaceutical innovation.
In addition to the seminar, this event also featured a Scientific Paper Dissemination, which provided a platform for young researchers to present their research findings to reviewers and an academic audience. As a token of appreciation, the committee presented awards to the best participants in three categories: Best Journal Paper, Best Proceedings Paper, and Best Presenter.
The event was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University, Prof. Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D., who in her remarks commended HIMAFARMA for their enthusiasm and dedication in raising sustainable pharmacy issues relevant to the development of global health sciences.
The committee chair, Joy Tiffani Aprillia Buntoro, expressed her pride in the hard work of the entire committee, who had prepared the event for over six months. Meanwhile, HIMAFARMA Chair, I Made Artadinatha Yogi Maha Putra, emphasized that the organization's professionalism and maturity in implementing national-scale activities.
Through the 2025 WSNF, HIMAFARMA FMIPA Udayana University hopes to continue to be a platform for developing the intellectual, skills, and character of pharmacy students who are ready to contribute to the sustainable advancement of health and pharmacy.
