NATIONAL DISSEMINATION OF LABORAN INNOVATION WORKS

Central Jakarta, Thursday - Saturday 28-30 November 2024 - The 2024 KiLab Laboratory Innovation Work Dissemination Event was held in a hybrid offline and online manner. Online is intended for all team members, mentors and general participants, while offline participants are all participants who passed the kilab grant funding as many as 96 participants from all over Indonesia, divided into 4 categories, namely Science (27), Health (17), Engineering (33) and Technology (19). This event was held for 3 days from 28-30 November 2024 at the Haris Vertu Hotel, Central Jakarta.


The opening ceremony began with a report from the Chairperson, namely the Director of Resources (Dr. Lukman), who greatly appreciated the work of the educational staff (Laboran) in producing innovations even with minimal funding and of course very beneficial for the Tri Darma PT activities, and some have obtained HKI and cooperation with industry. The hope is for the downstreaming of an innovation for long-term benefits.


The Director General of Diktiristek (Mr. Abdul Haris) opened the dissemination event and expressed his greatest appreciation to all participants and congratulated the creativity of the laboratory assistants, both personally and in teamwork, who have produced innovative works presented in the form of posters. And congratulations were also conveyed to the participants who passed the top three in each category.


The next series of events were the committee and invitees from the ministry, visiting and seeing the best works of laboratory assistants and a short discussion related to the explanation of innovative works in the form of posters. The second day's event was delivered by the Deputy Minister of Diktisaintek Prof. Dr. Fauzan, M.Pd. Who strongly supports the creativity of laboratory assistants and hopes that similar activities will become a permanent agenda of the ministry's activities in determining National-Level Achieving Laboratory Assistants with their most applicable innovative works.


The next session of the event was how to build collaboration with partners, both lecturers and industry, which was delivered by Mr. Burhanudin Halimi from ITB. Many tips were given to encourage our small groups to conduct research collaborations so that they are better and can be continued according to scientific principles.


Presentation of the top 3 finalists in the field of Science from the University of Mataram, ITB and the University of North Sumatra, who explained their respective innovative works in the form of demonstration tools for testing, practicums, and fertilizer production by making smart fermentors. As the winner of 1 in the field of science with his work making a vacuum sample sowing tool for SEM tests more evenly from the University of North Sumatra, as the 2nd winner from the University of Mataram, the Physics study program with an innovation for electrical conductivity practicums using a modified Arduino and a lab from ITB as the 3rd winner.


Two PLP FMIPA Univ Udayana (Mrs. Ariwathi & IB Yoga), as grant recipients and participants in the 2024 National level dissemination. Although we have not succeeded in becoming the top 3, we have gained valuable experience, especially how the resulting external products and their benefits in the world of education are a challenge in the future to be more active, more creative in creating an Innovation.
