Bukit Jimbaran, Saturday, May 24, 2025 - The Student Association of the Pharmacy Study Program of Udayana University held the National Avicena Competition 2025 as part of the work program of the Education, Human Resource Development, and Organization Sector. NAC 2025 aims to improve the intellectual quality, creativity, and critical thinking patterns among students, students, and the general public, as well as introduce the Pharmacy Study Program of Udayana University nationally. This activity took the theme "Implementing Personalized Medicine in Global Healthcare Systems: Adjusting Therapy Based on Genetic Profiles," where participants were invited to understand the concept of personalized medicine, evaluate scientific evidence related to the efficacy and safety of therapy based on genetic profiles, and develop analytical skills in clinical decision making.

The NAC 2025 activity was chaired by I Gst. Ayu Karina Dwi Anjani, a Pharmacy student class of 2023, along with 72 committee members. Preparations began on February 28, 2025 with the formation of the committee structure, followed by open competition registration on March 11–April 20, 2025 and seminar registration on March 11–April 30, 2025, the Patient Counseling Competition technical meeting on May 5, 2025. Then on May 10, 2025, a national seminar and the preliminary round of the Patient Counseling Competition were held. The seminar was held online for participants and invited guests, and offline for the committee at the AS Biology Building, Jimbaran. The event was opened by the Dean of FMIPA Unud, Prof. Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D., and attended by the Coordinator of the Pharmacy Study Program, Apt. Dr. Eka Indra Setiawan, S.Farm., M.Sc.
