LKMM-TL FMIPA 2024: BUILDING WISE AND RESPONSIBLE LEADERS

Denpasar, Sunday, December 1, 2024 – The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University successfully held the Advanced Student Management Leadership Training (LKMM-TL) 2024, an advanced leadership training program held for two days, Saturday (11/30) to Sunday (1/12). Taking place on campus, this event aims to equip FMIPA students with critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, and moral leadership values ??to prepare them as future leaders in student organizations.

LKMM-TL FMIPA 2024 carries the theme "Jnanavan Prabhupati Ksatria Pratibaddham Bhavayitum" which means "Developing leaders who have wise knowledge and commitment to responsibility". This theme is implemented in a series of activities including pre-assignments in the form of video making, leadership seminars, Leader Group Discussions (LGD), and live debate practice. The entire series is designed to provide a comprehensive experience in honing organizational and leadership skills.

In its implementation, the event involved various parties, starting from the committee, seminar speakers, to debate judges. The first day opened with a leadership seminar by an inspiring resource person, followed by a group discussion (Leader Group Discussion), and the second day closed with a debate practice that brought together brilliant ideas from the participants.

The Chairperson of the LKMM-TL FMIPA 2024 Committee said that the preparation of this event presented its own challenges because of the relatively short time. "However, thanks to solid teamwork, we were able to overcome the existing obstacles. Pillars such as principles, integrity, commitment, and teamwork are truly applied in the implementation of this program," he said.

One of the participants, Putu Aditya, admitted that he had learned a lot from this activity. "Not only did I increase my insight and leadership experience, I also learned how to face challenges and develop critical thinking. This activity is very useful for me as a prospective leader in the student organization environment."

The event was closed with the announcement of the graduates on December 3-4, 2024. The committee hopes that the knowledge gained during LKMM-TL FMIPA 2024 can have a positive impact in forming wise, responsible leaders who have good leadership strategies.

In closing, the chairman of the committee gave a message to the next generation. "Stay enthusiastic and maintain collaboration between team members. Hopefully LKMM-TM 2025 can be a more mature and successful work program. Thank you to all parties who have supported the implementation of this activity," he concluded.
