Jimbaran, October 3, 2026 — The Bachelor of Pharmacy and Pharmacist Professional Education (PSPA) study programs at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Udayana University, have undergone a field assessment conducted by the Independent Accreditation Agency for Higher Education in Health (LAM-PTKes). The activity took place over five days, from Tuesday, September 29, to Saturday, October 3, 2026.


The field assessment is a crucial part of the accreditation process, aimed at ensuring compliance with educational quality standards and evaluating the implementation of quality assurance systems within the Bachelor of Pharmacy and Pharmacist Professional Education study programs.


The assessment activities included a qualitative review of documents based on eight criteria, interviews with various stakeholders, and direct inspections of the facilities and infrastructure supporting academic activities.


The LAM-PTKes assessor team also inspected laboratories, classrooms for the Bachelor of Pharmacy and PSPA programs, the library, and other supporting learning facilities. Furthermore, the assessment covered inspections of sites used for pharmacist professional practice, including hospitals, the pharmaceutical industry, pharmaceutical wholesalers (PBF), and community pharmacies.


The entire field assessment process proceeded smoothly and successfully, thanks to the support, coordination, and collaboration of the entire academic community at FMIPA Udayana University and relevant partners.


The Dean of FMIPA Udayana University and the faculty leadership expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the LAM-PTKes assessor team, the leadership of Udayana University and FMIPA, lecturers, administrative staff, students, alumni, graduate employers, pharmacist professional practice sites (PKPA), and all partners who provided support and contributed to the execution of this field assessment. This field assessment is part of the commitment of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Udayana University to continuously strengthen a culture of quality and enhance the standard of education—specifically in producing competent and professional Pharmacy graduates and pharmacists of high integrity who are capable of contributing to society and the advancement of healthcare.
