Denpasar, June 8, 2026 – The Biology Doctoral Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Udayana University, once again achieved academic success through the Open Doctoral Promotion Examination for I Gusti Agung Putra Adnyana, held in the 3rd Floor Auditorium of the Postgraduate Building, Udayana University, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar.

In the open examination, I Gusti Agung Putra Adnyana presented and defended his dissertation, entitled "Multimodal Spectroscopic Analysis for Detecting Diabetes Mellitus Tracers in Biofluids," before a team of promoters, co-promoters, examiners, and the Udayana University academic community. After a comprehensive series of examinations and question-and-answer sessions, he was declared successful and awarded the title of Doctor.

This success makes I Gusti Agung Putra Adnyana the ninth Doctorate graduated from the Biology Doctoral Study Program, FMIPA, Udayana University, and further enhances the program's contribution to producing superior human resources in the fields of biology and scientific research.

The examination took place solemnly and was attended by university leaders, faculty leaders, lecturers, students, families, and invited guests. In his presentation, the candidate demonstrated a deep mastery of his research field and strong academic skills in answering various questions and input from the examining team.

The Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University, expressed his appreciation for the success and expressed his hope that the research results would contribute to the development of science, particularly in the field of biology, and benefit the wider community.
