FMIPA Unud Successfully Establishes Global Cooperation Through The 3rd Science and Technology International Conference (STIC) 2024

Denpasar, November 6, 2024 - The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University (UNUD) successfully held The 3rd Science and Technology International Conference (STIC) 2024 at the Postgraduate Hall Building, Udayana University on November 6-7, 2024. This conference carries the theme "Improving Community Welfare and Sustainability". The Chairperson of the Committee, I Putu Tedy Indrayana, S.Pd., M.Sc reported that this conference involved four keynote speakers and seven invited speakers. The conference, which was attended by academics, researchers, and industry practitioners from 8 countries, became a forum for sharing knowledge, experience, and innovation in the fields of science and technology, as well as initiating global research collaborations. This activity was attended by 103 participants from within and outside Indonesia.


In his remarks, the Chancellor of UNUD, represented by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja, M.P. conveyed his greatest appreciation to FMIPA UNUD for organizing this conference. Prof. Rai also hopes that this event can encourage international collaboration in the field of research and development of science, as well as an effort to improve the IKU of higher education. Meanwhile, the Dean of FMIPA UNUD Prof. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D also hopes that this conference can contribute to the achievement of sustainable development goals both locally in Bali and nationally in general.
