`

Bukit Jimbaran, Tuesday, December 10, 2024 – The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University held a meeting to map out the positions of education staff (tendik). This meeting aims to evaluate the performance of current education staff, prepare for the regeneration of education staff who will retire, and carry out new assignments for education staff according to the needs of the faculty.

In the meeting led by the Dean of FMIPA Prof. Ni Luh Watiniasih, a number of important points were discussed regarding the management of human resources in the faculty environment. One of them is the evaluation of the performance of education staff whose contracts will end this year. The faculty will extend the contract and map out clearer positions to ensure smooth operations.

In addition, the meeting also discussed new assignments for education staff. Several education staff will be given additional tasks to fill vacant positions or increase work efficiency. To ensure that these tasks are carried out properly, a clear Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) will be prepared for each education staff.

"This job mapping is very important to ensure that each education staff has clear duties and responsibilities," said the Dean of FMIPA. "Thus, we can improve faculty performance and provide better service to the academic community."

One of the challenges faced by FMIPA is that several education staff will retire in the near future. The faculty has begun preparing for regeneration by looking for competent replacement candidates. In addition, the faculty will also consider involving employees from postgraduate programs to fill vacant positions.

With this job mapping meeting, it is hoped that the performance of FMIPA education staff can continue to improve and support the achievement of the faculty's vision and mission.
