FMIPA UNUD Develops 2026 Academic Guidelines to Strengthen Educational Quality and Accreditation
Denpasar – The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Udayana University held a coordination meeting for the 2026 FMIPA Academic Guidelines Drafting Team on Thursday, October 29, 2026, in Room 2.05 of the FMIPA Postgraduate Building, Denpasar.
The meeting, which commenced at 09:00 WITA (Central Indonesian Time), focused on drafting and aligning the 2026 FMIPA Academic Guidelines. These guidelines will serve as a unified reference for the implementation of education across both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
In her remarks, the Dean of FMIPA Udayana University, Prof. Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D., emphasized that the academic guidelines must align with both national and international accreditation standards—including those set by LAMSAMA, LAM INFOKOM, LAM-PTKes, ASIIN, IABEE, and FIBAA. Furthermore, the credit unit (SKS) requirements must also take into account ASIIN standards. All study programs have been requested to review and revise their curricula to meet accreditation requirements, particularly as seven study programs are scheduled for re-accreditation next year.
Meanwhile, the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs stated that the 2024 FMIPA Academic Guidelines would serve as the initial reference for drafting the 2026 edition, while remaining consistent with the 2026 Udayana University Academic Guidelines, which were established in April 2026.
Key aspects addressed in the updated guidelines include adjustments to the "Impactful Campus" (*Kampus Berdampak*) policy, organizational structure and operational procedures (SOTK) in accordance with Udayana University’s status as a Legal Entity State University (PTNBH), the use of university logos and symbols, an updated history of FMIPA, and requirements for scientific publications at each level of study. Furthermore, the discussion covered provisions regarding Participation Credit Units (SKP), the Diploma Supplement (SKPI), blended and online learning, international degree programs, the updating of laboratory and technical service unit (UPT) data, Fast Track programs, the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), and the updating of faculty profiles.
The meeting also emphasized the importance of delegating tasks and responsibilities among all team members to ensure the drafting process remains focused and on track to meet its targets. The 2026 Academic Guidelines for the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Udayana University (UNUD) are scheduled for completion by the end of November 2026, or, at the latest, ready for presentation at the plenary meeting in early December 2026.
Regarding accreditation requirements for the Master’s Program in Pharmacy—specifically the submission of the Self-Evaluation Report (LED) scheduled for the third week of November 2026—it was agreed that the 2024 FMIPA Academic Guidelines, the 2026 Udayana University Academic Guidelines, and the minutes from the 2026 guideline drafting meetings may serve as supporting documentation should the new guidelines not yet be finalized.
Through this coordination meeting, FMIPA UNUD reaffirms its commitment to developing 2026 Academic Guidelines that are more comprehensive, aligned with university policies, and supportive of enhancing academic quality and preparing study programs for accreditation.
