FMIPA Udayana University and Faculty of Engineering Pelita Bangsa University Explore Academic Cooperation and Study Program Development
Bukit Jimbaran, Wednesday, June 04, 2025 - The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University received a collaborative visit from the Faculty of Engineering, Pelita Bangsa University. The group was led by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Pelita Bangsa University, Mrs. Putri Anggun Sari, S.Pt., M.Sc., and also attended by the Secretary of the Informatics Engineering Study Program, representatives of the Directorate of Cooperation Development, Head of the Environmental Engineering Study Program, and lecturers from the Informatics Engineering Study Program.
This visit was welcomed directly by the Dean of FMIPA Udayana University, Prof. Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D., accompanied by the Vice Deans, Coordinator of the Informatics Study Program, Coordinator of UPIKS FMIPA, and lecturers from the Informatics Study Program.
The meeting took place in a warm atmosphere and full of collaborative spirit, discussing various opportunities for collaboration between the Informatics Study Program and across Study Programs within FMIPA. Discussion topics included lecturer and student management, interest structure in study programs, preparation and management of Semester Learning Plans based on OBE (Outcome-Based Education), and accreditation preparation strategies using the LAM INFOKOM instrument.
In addition, discussions also covered the management of student final assignments and optimization of the use of academic information systems in order to achieve the target of graduating on time. This visit is a strategic initial step in building synergy between institutions to improve the quality of higher education and develop study programs that are more adaptive to future challenges.
