FMIPA Udayana Receives Collaboration Visit from Mulawarman University and Auburn University

Denpasar, Tuesday 11 June 2024 - Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Udayana University received a valuable collaborative visit from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mulawarman University, Samarinda, East Kalimantan, and Auburn University, Alabama, USA.


This meeting was attended and opened by the Dean of FMIPA UNUD, Prof. Ni Luh Watiniasih, who was accompanied by the Pharmacy Study Program Coordinator, Dr. apt. Eka Indra Setyawan, Head of Sterile Technology Laboratory, apt. Putu Sanna Yustiantara, M. Si., Head of Pharmaceutical Analysis Laboratory, apt. Pande Nova Armita Sari, M. Si., Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mulawarman University, Dr. apt. Hadi Kuncoro, who was accompanied by the Pharmacy Study Program Coordinator, apt. Viriyanata Wijaya, Ph.D, Prof. Murali Dhanasekaran from Horrison College of Pharmacy, Auburn University, and Dr. Royrickers Cook, Vice President for University Outreach.


This meeting took place at the FMIPA UNUD Postgraduate Building at 14.00 WITA. The event began with remarks and presentations by the three parties regarding the profiles of their respective universities. This was followed by a discussion of cooperation and the preparation of a draft institutional cooperation agreement to fulfill Key Performance Indicators (IKU) 5 and IKU 6. Apart from that, on this occasion, the three parties also opened opportunities for lecturers who wanted to continue their Doctoral education at Auburn, the Upskill program at FMIPA UNUD, exchange students and teaching staff at the Independent Campus Learning (MBKM) program at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mulawarman University.


This collaborative visit is an important momentum in strengthening relations between FMIPA Udayana, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mulawarman University, and Auburn University. It is hoped that this collaboration will provide great benefits in the development of education, research and exchange of knowledge in the field of pharmaceutical science between the three institutions.
