FMIPA Coordination Meeting: Signing of PKS and AI Public Lecture in Indonesia

Denpasar, Friday, February 28, 2025 - An important coordination meeting was held regarding the signing of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between GoTo and the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University, as well as a public lecture entitled "Shaping The Future of AI in Indonesia."

This meeting was attended by representatives from both parties. From GoTo, Mr. Charly Raya, who serves as Head of Public Policy Government Relations for the East Java, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara Regional areas, was present to represent the company. Meanwhile, FMIPA was represented by the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning, Mr. Dr. Ir. Ngurah Agus Sanjaya ER, and the UPIKS Coordinator.

In the meeting, preparations were discussed in depth regarding the signing of the PKS and the guest lecture planned to be held on Friday, March 7, 2025. This event aims to provide education to students regarding the latest developments in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), especially in the context of Large Language Models (LLM), as well as the potential that AI has for Indonesia.

Moreover, this event is expected to inspire the younger generation to contribute to the development of AI that is beneficial to the nation. In addition, this event will also facilitate constructive dialogue between industry experts, academics, and students regarding the future of AI in Indonesia.
