FMIPA CLEAN UP 2022 CAMPUS EDITION INVITE 233 VOLUNTEERS TO CLEAN FROM FMIPA FOREST

BEM FMIPA Udayana University with its work program namely FMIPA Clean Up 2022 carried out cleaning activities in the FMIPA Campus, Jimbaran precisely behind the dean's building on Sunday, August 28, 2022. This activity was attended by the Deans, the TPST team (Integrated Waste Management Site) Samtaku Jimbaran , as well as 233 FMIPA student volunteers.

FMIPA Clean Up Campus Edition is the second edition of the activity that was previously held in the Balangan Beach area. As a second home for students, the campus is a very important environment to keep clean. A clean campus environment can make students feel comfortable about their learning achievements.

The purpose of this activity is to improve and maintain the cleanliness of the environment around the campus to be cleaner, free of waste, and sustainable, to create comfortable, effective, and enjoyable learning conditions in the campus area, to foster awareness, sensitivity of students to the state of the campus environment, and feeling proud to have their own campus, as well as being a forum for students to be able to contribute in improving the cleanliness of the campus environment.

This activity begins with the registration of the committee, invitees, and volunteers as well as temperature checks and the provision of hand sanitizer. The opening of the event began with a report from the chairman of the committee and remarks from the Dean of the MIPA Faculty. Then continued with the main event, namely cleaning the MIPA area environment and providing education from the Samtaku TPST Management team to the volunteers. Just like the first edition, volunteers were provided with knowledge about waste and waste, procedures for processing waste at the Samtaku TPST, and an invitation to love cleanliness and make use of the waste itself. Don't forget to also distribute prizes for volunteers who want to give their impressions and messages when participating in the FMIPA Clean Up Campus Edition. This activity was closed with a group photo by volunteers and the committee.

“Today's activity was very fun, although when I just arrived I was surprised because suddenly there was a forest in the dalem. Very tired, but fortunately there is a committee who always supports. The MC is also very cool. Oh yes! There are lots of mosquitoes too, but the committee has given anti-mosquito lotion,” said a FMIPA volunteer who gave his impression and message. After holding this activity on the FMIPA Campus, it is hoped that not only students, but also all campus residents must be aware of the importance of maintaining a clean environment.
