Final Stage Selection FMIPA Presidential Election: Exploring the Potential of Outstanding Students

Bukit Jimbaran, Thursday, June 13 2024, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Udayana University carried out the final selection process for selecting Outstanding Students (Pilmapres) to represent the faculty in university level competitions. This activity was held in the Dean's Building, 1st Floor, Senate Room, Bukit Jimbaran Campus, starting at 08.00 WITA.

 

This activity was attended by the Dean of FMIPA, Prof. Ni Luh Watiniasih, Deputy Deans, Chair of the Committee and Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information FMIPA, Prof. Ni Nyoman Rupiasih, 6 Pilmapres Judges from each study program, 9 Pilmapres participants (representatives from the classes of 2002 and 2023 from each study program), and Student Affairs Sub-Coordinator, Ni Luh Darmawati. This activity is a follow-up to Letter No. B/334/UN14.2.8.III/KM.05.03/2024 dated 10 June 2024, in the context of the Selection of Outstanding Students (PILMAPRES) at the Mathematics and Natural Sciences Faculty Level.


The main aim of this activity is to re-screen 9 participants who have passed at the study program level to represent the faculty in the university-level Pilmapres event. In this effort, 2 finalists have been selected to represent their class, namely I Gusti Agung Diah Sri Ari Ningsih from the class of 2022 and I Komang Wahyu Pranata from the class of 2023, both of whom come from the Informatics Study Program.


This Pilmapres activity provides an opportunity for students to explore their potential and abilities in various fields. Through strict selection, participants are tested in terms of their knowledge, creativity and contribution to society. It is hoped that through this activity, students can continue to develop their talents and interests and become an inspiration for others.


On this occasion, Prof. Ni Nyoman Rupasih expressed her thanks to all the judges, participants and committee who had played a role in the implementation of this Pilmapres event. He also hopes that more quality presidential candidates will emerge who are ready to compete at higher levels.


With this Pilmapres activity, FMIPA Udayana University shows its commitment to exploring the potential of outstanding students and providing recognition and appreciation for their dedication in the academic field and self-development. It is hoped that this activity can be a motivation for FMIPA students to continue to excel and contribute to creating positive change in society.
