Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UNUD Conducts Mapping of Lecturer Positions to Optimize Academic Potential

Bukit Jimbaran, Monday, December 9, 2024 - The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MIPA) of Udayana University continues to strive to improve the quality of education and research. One of the strategic steps taken is to map lecturer positions. This job mapping meeting aims to optimize the academic potential of lecturers and align it with the needs of faculty development.


The meeting agenda discussed the formation of Expertise Groups (KBK) as the basis for job mapping. Each KBK will consist of 4-8 lecturers with an even distribution. In addition, the KBK leadership criteria, promotion and transfer mechanisms for academic positions, and the deadline for completing mapping at the study program level were also discussed.


The Dean of the Faculty of MIPA, Prof. Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc. PhD., emphasized the importance of accurate job mapping to support lecturer career development and improve the quality of education. "This job mapping will be the basis for us in identifying the needs of scientific development, as well as providing opportunities for lecturers to contribute more optimally.


The results of this job mapping are expected to provide a clear picture of the strengths and weaknesses of the faculty in the academic field, so that strategic steps can be taken to improve the quality of education and research. In addition, job mapping will also be the basis for planning human resource development in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
