Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University, Collaborates with ICP Hub Indonesia to Hold Blockchain Workshop “Builder’s Day ICP”

Bukit Jimbaran, Friday, May 16, 2025 - The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MIPA) of Udayana University in collaboration with ICP Hub Indonesia held a Builder's Day ICP Workshop for students of the Informatics Study Program. This activity aims to introduce blockchain technology, smart contract development, and the Internet Computer (ICP) ecosystem to students as provisions for facing the technology-based industrial world.

This workshop was guided directly by experienced instructors and technical mentors from ICP Hub Indonesia, Tokocrypto, and TKO. During the session, participants received materials ranging from basic blockchain concepts to direct practice in developing smart contract-based solutions.

This activity began with the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Udayana University and ICP Hub Indonesia. The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences was represented by Deputy Dean I, Dr. Ir. Ngurah Agus Sanjaya ER, S.Kom., M.Kom., while ICP Hub Indonesia was represented by Venita Adorete as Hub Leader.

In addition, the signing of the Implementation of Cooperation (IA) by the Informatics Study Program of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences was also carried out, which was signed by the Coordinator of the Informatics Study Program, Dr. Ir. I Ketut Gede Suhartana, S.Kom., M.Kom., IPM., ASEAN.Eng.

This event is expected to open students' insights into the ever-evolving blockchain technology, as well as encourage them to be active in developing decentralized system-based technology that is relevant to current industry needs.
