Extension of the Registration Deadline for FMIPA Dean Candidates 2023-2027

Tuesday, June 6 2022, In the FMIPA senate meeting room, the selection committee for prospective Dean candidates for the 2023-2027 period held a coordination meeting again with an agenda to report the results of the registration of prospective Dean candidates which had been carried out and plans to extend the registration time.

In a meeting chaired by the chairman of the committee apt. Made Krisna Adi Jaya, S.Farm., M.Farm and opened by the Dean of FMIPA Prof. dr. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc. This Ph.D was conveyed again that the registration for candidates for the Dean of FMIPA which began to open on May 26 2023 had closed on May 31 2023.

During this period, there was 1 package of Dean candidates who had registered to take part in the selection. Actually there were still 2 packages of Dean candidates who would register. However, because there are quite a lot of administrative requirements that must be prepared, the candidates failed to register on time. 

Based on the Chancellor's Regulation Number 8 of 2021 concerning Procedures for Appointing and Dismissal of Deans and Deputy Deans at Udayana University, it is stated that it is required that there are at least 3 packages of prospective deans who register. If the minimum number has not been met, an extension of the registration period must be carried out. For this reason, the meeting decided that registration would be extended until June 16, 2023. Krisna Said at the interview.

When asked which of the 3 prospective deans who had and would register, Krisna was reluctant to say further. "Later, the three prospective Deans of FMIPA UNUD for the 2023 period will be determined no later than June 20, 2023, and automatically the entire Udayana community, especially the FMIPA community, will know the 3 Candidates for Deans after that date," he added.
