About the Program:

EARTH CAMP is a nature-based international English camp for Japanese elementary school students. We provide a unique environment where children learn English, explore nature, and connect with the world through cultural exchange and outdoor activities.

• Camp Dates:
• Start: August 5, 2025
• End: August 23, 2025
• Total duration: Approximately 2.5 weeks

 

Volunteer Role:

We are looking for enthusiastic university students to join as activity assistants and cultural exchange facilitators. Your main roles will include:

• Assisting Japanese staff in outdoor and classroom activities
• Supporting simple English communication with children
• Sharing Indonesian culture and helping bridge communication
• Participating in nature walks, arts & crafts, and team games

 

Requirements:

• Basic English communication skills (Japanese not required)
• Enjoy working with children (ages 9–12)
• Responsible, friendly, and eager to learn
• Full-time and part-time (spot) participation options are available. We are happy to discuss the schedule individually!

 

Support Provided:

As a Support Intern, you will receive the following:

• Meals during program hours
• Local transportation to/from the camp site (if needed)
• A small activity support allowance (honorarium) as appreciation for your help
• Certificate of Participation

 

Please note: This is not a salaried position, but we deeply value your time and contribution. We aim to make your experience meaningful, enjoyable, and supportive for your growth.
