DPM FMIPA 2026 Community Service: Strengthening Numeracy and Caring in Nyanglan Village

Klungkung – The Student Representative Council (DPM) of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University successfully held the 2026 DPM FMIPA Community Service from July 21–27, 2026, in Nyanglan Village, Banjarangkan District, Klungkung Regency. The event carried the theme "Strengthening Numeracy as a Foundation for Logical Thinking and Problem Solving" and was held in collaboration with the FMIPA Mengabdi 2026 program run by the Student Executive Board (BEM FMIPA).


The event was officially opened by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University, Prof. Ni Nyoman Rupiasih, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D., and was attended by members of the Nyanglan Village Government, Nyanglan Public Elementary School, community leaders, and the FMIPA academic community of Udayana University.


Various educational and social activities were carried out with the students of Nyanglan Public Elementary School, ranging from basic numeracy lessons, Mini Math Games, literacy classes, group exercise, school clean-up activities, and the distribution of school supplies and gift packages. All activities were interactive and aimed at fostering logical thinking skills, creativity, and a passion for learning in students.


Through these activities, Udayana University (UNUD) Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences students not only shared knowledge and awareness but also implemented a spirit of community service, solidarity, and social responsibility. It is hoped that the good relationship established with the Nyanglan Village community will continue to grow through ongoing community service programs.
