DAAD University Summer Course Scholarship 2027: An Opportunity to Study and Experience Academic Life in Germany

Jimbaran – Udayana University, through its Office of International Affairs, has announced the DAAD University Summer Course 2027, a scholarship program offered by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) that enables international students to participate in summer courses at higher education institutions in Germany.

The program supports students in attending language and cultural studies courses as well as technical language courses organized by German universities. It aims to expand opportunities for Udayana University students to gain academic and international experience abroad.

Participant Requirements

According to official information from the Udayana University Office of International Affairs, the program is open to:

1. Currently enrolled Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students;
2. Students from various fields of study;
3. Individuals aged at least 18;
4. Students generally possessing German language proficiency at a minimum level of B1;
5. Final-year students, provided they plan to pursue further studies at the Master’s level.

German Language Proficiency Requirements

Applicants are required to demonstrate German language proficiency of at least level B1. Accepted language certificates include onSET, TestDaF, Goethe-Institut, DSD, DSH, telc, and ÖSD.

Generally, these language proficiency certificates must have been issued no more than one year prior to the application date.

Important Points to Note

The program information specifies that:

1. The scholarship may be awarded only once;
2. Participants must be enrolled at a university outside of Germany;
3. Participants are expected to demonstrate a commitment to sustainability.
