"Coordination of KUI and FMIPA Udayana: Preparation for Surabali 2024 in Bali"

On Tuesday, March 19 2024, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Udayana University welcomed a visit from the International Affairs Office (KUI) which focused on coordinating the Surabali activities scheduled for July – August 2024 in Bali. This activity is part of the event at Udayana University as the organizer, and this time FMIPA is trusted as the host in organizing Surabali 2024 with joint efforts between FMIPA and KUI to prepare activities that will be initiated by three universities, namely UNUD, UNAIR and Univ Petra Surabaya.

 

This visit was welcomed directly by the Dean of FMIPA, Prof. Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D., as well as deputy deans and study programs, such as the Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Dr. Drs. I Made Sukadana, M.Sc., Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Prof. Ni Nyoman Rupiasih, S.Si, M.Si., Ph.D, and Pharmacy Study Program Coordinator Dr. apt. Eka Indra Setyawan, S.Farm., M.Sc. then on the KUI side, Mrs. Putu Ayu Asty Senja Pratiwi, SS, M.Hum, Ph.D and Dr. apt. Putu Oka Samirana, S.Farm., M.Sc. as a representative in the discussion.

 

The purpose of this visit is to discuss the mechanism and budget for the Surabali 2024 activities, which is part of efforts to prepare for the event to be held in Bali. This discussion demonstrated the commitment of both parties to ensure the success of the event and the significant contribution of FMIPA in preparing and organizing this activity. This visit marks an important step in preparation for the Surabali event, which is expected to provide new and interesting insights for foreign students and the community in Bali, especially the FMIPA Udayana academic community. It is hoped that with active participation from all parties involved, this event can become an effective platform for sharing knowledge and innovation, as well as strengthening relations between FMIPA and KUI.
