Coordination Meeting for Preparation of BK 41 FMIPA: Building Shared Environmental Concern

Bukit Jimbaran, Tuesday, June 17, 2025 – Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University held a coordination meeting in preparation for the community service event for the 41st FMIPA BK, which will take place on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 07.00 am in the area around the FMIPA building, Bukit Jimbaran Campus. This meeting was officially opened by the Dean of FMIPA, Prof. Ni Luh Watiniasih, and attended by the Vice Deans, Study Program Coordinators, Chairpersons of the Committee, and representatives of the 41st BK committee members.

The main focus of this community service is two main activities: cleaning up plastic waste and planting ornamental trees or greening plants. This activity is designed not only to maintain the cleanliness of the campus environment, but also to inspire the entire FMIPA academic community to care more about preserving nature and creating a comfortable and healthy educational atmosphere.

The meeting emphasized that this environmental service is a real manifestation of social responsibility which is expected to raise collective awareness of the entire academic community regarding the importance of protecting the environment for a better future. With thorough preparation and active participation from various elements of FMIPA, the 41st BK is expected to bring a significant positive impact in building a clean and green environmental character on campus and its surroundings.
