Closing Growth Class FMIPA 2026: Equipping the Young Generation with Digital Skills for the Future

Jimbaran – The 2026 Growth Class of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), one of the flagship programs of the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University, initiated by the Communication and Information Division, officially concluded its entire series of activities on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at the Lecture Building of Udayana University.


Themed "Design Your Path – Digital Skills for the Future," the event was successfully held as a hybrid program and was attended by 300 participants, including high school (SMA), vocational (SMK), and Islamic high school (MA) students from various regions across Indonesia. The series of activities included an opening seminar, three intensive digital skills development classes, the preparation of a final project in the form of a digital portfolio, and a closing seminar.


At the closing ceremony, Ratna Sari Widiastuti, S.Si., M.Sc., the Student Affairs Supervisor for Mathematics, expressed the appreciation of the leadership of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Udayana University to all parties who had made the event a success. The Growth Class is expected to equip participants with digital skills, personal branding, and professional readiness that can be further developed to face the academic world and future careers.


One of the speakers, I Putu Bahagiana, encouraged participants to dare to try new things, step out of their comfort zones, and view every experience as part of a process to continue growing and making a positive impact.
