Bukit Jimbaran, Wednesday, October 23, 2024 — Held in the senate meeting room on the 1st floor of the FMIPA dean's office, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) held a coordination meeting of the FMIPA 2024 ICT Infrastructure and System Development Team under the coordination of the FMIPA Information and Cooperation Management Unit (UPIKS). This meeting aims to unify the vision and formulate strategies in an effort to improve the quality of digital-based internal and external services at FMIPA, with a focus on the development of information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure and systems.

In the meeting, various ideas and technical strategies were discussed by the meeting participants. One of the main topics was involving Informatics Study Program students through the Student Innovation Center (SIC). Students from this study program will play an active role in various stages of development, from planning to implementation, especially in digital service innovations that will be implemented in the faculty.

Involving students in the development of ICT infrastructure and systems aims to provide real experience in large-scale digital development projects, strengthen their practical skills, and encourage creativity in facing technological challenges. In addition, this collaboration is expected to have a positive impact on improving the quality of the ICT system in FMIPA, considering that fresh and innovative student contributions can accelerate the faculty's digital transformation.

With the active involvement of students, it is hoped that the development of ICT infrastructure can be more relevant to user needs, both internal and external, and create a more efficient, adaptive, and sustainable digital ecosystem.
